John has been a member of Duke Construction & Excavation and the Construction industry for over 27 years. He is very hands on by operating heavy equipment and managing the projects on the jobsite by scheduling materials for the project, managing the crew onsite, performing the daily reports, change orders, RFI’s and attending weekly subcontractors’ meetings.
As the construction industry is improving and getting more advanced in technology we have purchased and learned to us GPS. We now have 3 GPS systems that we use daily on the jobsites to perform layout out for our various scopes of work. He also assist in bidding projects, manage Safety for our company and assists in all the business decisions that happen on a daily basis.
Chris Dukart has been working in the excavation field full time for 14 years. Chris started in the family business working during his summer breaks in high school and college as a labor. After college Chris advanced from labor to CDL truck driver and then equipment operator and managing small crews on the smaller projects.
Chris progressively keep on moving forward and eventually managed bigger crews and projects for Duke. In 2014 Chris became part owners of Duke Construction & Excavation with his 2 brothers. Now Chris is the head estimator for Duke and still manages projects of all sizes.
I have been a member of Duke Construction & Excavation and the Construction industry for 25 years. Some of the duties I perform are operating heavy equipment and managing the projects on the jobsite by scheduling materials for the project, managing the crew onsite, performing the daily reports, change orders, RFI’s and attending weekly subcontractors meetings. Using new technologies I developed a system for Duke to streamline takeoffs and bid projects. Steve is a active Board member of NWUCA (NW utility contractor association). I am a past President, and Served 10 years on the executive board. Also during my term as president I served as committee chair to help the fair contracting forum develop the new PCDP for city of Portland.
