Tualatin Service Center is a project that consist of a new 10,000 square foot office building for the City of Tualatin. This is a unique job due to the fact that the building sits on a 12” concrete slab and is not support by typical footings. The 12” mat slab is 3.5’ below finish floor elevation and has radon piping and then special radon rock on top of the piping to allow the lateral flow of gases to vent out of the building. Duke’s other scope of work on this project is installing new sanitary line, storm line, fire suppression line and new domestic water line.
